01Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CukaiMax ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

02Service Description

CukaiMax is a tax deduction tracking tool for Malaysian taxpayers. We provide receipt storage, deduction cap tracking, and LHDN-ready export features. The Service is provided "as is" and we do not provide tax advice.

Tax estimates, refund and balance figures, and "up to RM …" savings are estimates based on the information you give us and the relief rules in effect for that year. "Up to" savings only count reliefs you already use or have told us you pay for, valued at your current tax band. They are not a promise of a refund or a lower tax bill. LHDN decides your final tax.

03User Accounts

3.1Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a Malaysian taxpayer to use the Service.

04Pricing and Payment

  • Free plan with unlimited receipt uploads and no credit card required
  • RM99/year for CukaiMax Personal, billed yearly. It renews automatically until you cancel
  • Payments processed securely by Stripe on the web, or by the App Store or Google Play in the app
  • Payments are non-refundable, except where the law or the App Store or Google Play rules require a refund
  • Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Personal until the end of the year you have paid for
  • Prices subject to change with 30 days notice

05User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate receipt and deduction information
  • Verify all exported data before submitting to LHDN
  • Not share your account with others
  • Not use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer or hack the Service

06Data Ownership and Usage

You retain ownership of all data you upload. We store and process your data solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

07Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates with advance notice when possible.

08Limitation of Liability

CukaiMax is not liable for:

  • Tax filing errors or penalties due to incorrect data entry
  • LHDN audits or disputes
  • Loss of data due to user error or force majeure
  • Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

09Termination

You may cancel your subscription anytime. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days.

10Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes shall be resolved in Malaysian courts.

11Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with 30 days notice. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
