Our Commitment to PDPA

CukaiMax is fully committed to complying with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia. We recognize the importance of protecting your personal data and have implemented comprehensive measures to ensure your information is handled responsibly and securely.

The Seven PDPA Principles

We adhere to all seven principles outlined in the PDPA:

We only process your personal data with your consent and for lawful purposes directly related to our tax tracking services.

2. Notice and Choice Principle

We inform you about the purpose of data collection and give you choices regarding how your data is used.

3. Disclosure Principle

Your personal data is not disclosed to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

4. Security Principle

We implement robust security measures including encryption, access controls, and regular security audits to protect your data.

5. Retention Principle

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of collection or as required by LHDN regulations (7 years for tax records).

6. Data Integrity Principle

We take reasonable steps to ensure your personal data is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

7. Access Principle

You have the right to access and correct your personal data held by us.

Your Rights Under PDPA

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

  • Right to access your personal data
  • Right to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to withdraw consent for data processing
  • Right to prevent processing for direct marketing
  • Right to lodge complaints with the Personal Data Protection Commissioner
