1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CukaiMax ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

CukaiMax is a tax deduction tracking tool for Malaysian taxpayers. We provide receipt storage, deduction cap tracking, and LHDN-ready export features. The Service is provided "as is" and we do not provide tax advice.

IMPORTANT: CukaiMax is not a tax consultancy or accounting firm. Always consult a qualified tax professional for specific tax advice.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a Malaysian taxpayer to use the Service.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • 7-day free trial (no credit card required)
  • RM99/year subscription after trial
  • Payments processed securely via third-party providers
  • Refunds available within 30 days of purchase
  • Prices subject to change with 30 days notice

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate receipt and deduction information
  • Verify all exported data before submitting to LHDN
  • Not share your account with others
  • Not use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer or hack the Service

6. Data Ownership and Usage

You retain ownership of all data you upload. We store and process your data solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates with advance notice when possible.

8. Limitation of Liability

CukaiMax is not liable for:

  • Tax filing errors or penalties due to incorrect data entry
  • LHDN audits or disputes
  • Loss of data due to user error or force majeure
  • Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription anytime. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes shall be resolved in Malaysian courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with 30 days notice. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
